BOTOX®
BOTOX® is a natural, purified protein, which blocks nerve impulses to the muscles that cause wrinkles. When we frown, the skin is gathered into a fold causing a chronic furrow or wrinkle. When BOTOX® is injected into the muscles, they relax, and the skin that lies over these muscles smoothes out. BOTOX® can be used for the horizontal frown lines in the forehead, frown lines between the eyes, the "crows feet" around the eyes, and necklines and bands.

It takes the BOTOX® three to seven days to work, and will last for three to four months, sometimes longer depending on the patient. Repeat treatments will be necessary to maintain the desired results. You may have some bruising and redness at the injection sites, but this resolves within two to three days. You may cover these areas with makeup.
